The iconic and beautiful Castle Square in Lincoln was the subject of this oil painting. The colours and proportions took a little more artistic licence with exaggerated vibrancy and caricature-like shapes. The aim was to capture a little of the hustle and bustle of the setting as well as the magnificence of the architecture. The original oil painting has been digitally enhanced to appear more illustrative.
